Release confiscated, Critically Endangered radiated tortoises (Astrochelys radiata) back into their natural environment in southwestern Madagascar. Monitor the tortoises post release with the active involvement of the local community. Build awareness and support for tortoises among local people, and train them to conduct follow-up monitoring and long-term turtle custodianship.
