Lay the groundwork for the Paraguas–Munchique Western Colombia Birding Trail to serve as a major destination for birdwatchers. Help local communities derive economic benefits from biodiversity conservation. The project will fund field work, trail design, community outreach, the establishment of a multi-stakeholder alliance, marketing and fundraising.

Strategic Direction: 4 Promote and scale up opportunities to foster private sector approaches for biodiversity conservation to benefit priority KBAs in the seven corridors.
