Assess local and regional institutional capacity-building needs and opportunities in the biodiversity conservation and protected-area management fields in priority key biodiversity areas in the English-speaking Caribbean, through research, surveys and interviews with key organizations in the region to conduct the assessment and obtain the desired information. The grant also supports the analysis of the information and preparation of a report on the information obtained, including recommendations for building capacity among organizations involved in biodiversity conservation and protected-area management.

Strategic Direction: 3 Support Caribbean civil society to achieve biodiversity conservation by building local and regional institutional capacity and by fostering stakeholder collaboration
