Support inclusion of specific provisions for the conservation of limestone biodiversity into EIA guidelines for the mining sector. Develop environmental best practices for limestone quarries, promote their adoption by the Mining Department and cement companies. Promote incorporation of limestone karst KBAs into development plans. Demonstrate best practice show cave management, and share with the Tourism Department and show cave operators.

Strategic Direction: 6 Engage key actors in mainstreaming biodiversity, communities and livelihoods into development planning in the priority corridors
