Strengthen the role of the Los Cedros Scientific Station in environmental education, local capacity building for co-management and sustainable management of the forest. Involve civil society in the sustainable management of the Los Cedros Protected Forest and its areas of influence.
Strengthen local capacities for the sustainable management of natural resources and to raise awareness among children and youth about the importance of the environment. Promote community participation with gender equity.

Strategic Direction: 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
