Conserve and restore the Sierra de Bahoruco National Park, home to unique ecosystems and endangered species. Combat deforestation, poor agricultural practices, and the threats posed by unsustainable tourism development. Strengthen local civil society organizations and train community members in environmental conservation, resource management, and sustainable agriculture. Establish a Youth Network of Eco-Activists, promote gender equity in decision-making, and support reforestation efforts to protect the area's biodiversity and water resources.

Strategic Direction: 2 Increase landscape-level connectivity and ecosystem resilience in seven priority corridors
