Protect the threatened trees of the montane forest blocks of Ambohitantely Special Reserve. Take inventory of mature seed-bearing trees of 19 species, study their ecology and collect their seeds. Establish restoration plots with local communities, including for threatened trees species, to reinforce ecological connectivity between forest blocks.

Strategic Direction: 1 Empower communities and civil society to implement actions to improve the resilience of species, ecosystems, and human populations to climate change in priority KBAs
