Update the scientific baseline for the Santiago Purple Heron, Ardea purpurea bournei. This project will conduct genetic research to suggest adapted emergency conservation actions and start the process to update of its IUCN global status. Strengthen NGO capacities to act as a key stakeholder in biodiversity conservation by supporting the development of planning documents and a financial strategy and plan.
