Strengthen the knowledge and capacity of community networks to engage in locally led management activities that support conservation of the Irrawaddy Dolphin ( Orcaella brevirostris ) in Songkhla Lake. Conduct exchange visits between community groups to discuss conservation and restoration needs. Establish community conservation areas and formulate plans to improve the management for the benefit of communities and dolphins.

Strategic Direction: 8 Strengthen the capacity of civil society to work on biodiversity, communities and livelihoods at regional, national, local and grassroots levels
