Establish an evidence-based approach to search for the last Kouprey (Bos sauveli) by summarizing past camera-trapping surveys, estimating the probability that these studies failed to detect Kouprey, identifying areas with suitable habitat for kouprey that were not previously surveyed, prioritizing potential target areas through characterizing their remoteness, current protection status, past survey efforts, and other environmental characteristics and communicating project findings to relevant stakeholders.

Strategic Direction: 1 Safeguard priority globally threatened species by mitigating major threats
