Build on a previous grant by Wai Hau, which collected information on the leatherback turtle and carried out training and monitoring for rangers in Wai Hau. Data and experiences will now feed into and form the basis for a species management plan to be developed and put into use in Wai Hau and southern Malaita.

Strategic Direction: 3 Safeguard priority globally threatened species by addressing major threats and information gaps
