Expand the project of an atlas for reptiles and amphibians from Mayotte to the rest of the Comoros Archipelago. Experts from Mayotte will work in partnership with researchers, students and civil society in the Comoros islands to review existing data, inventory sites where data is deficient, create a database for reptiles and amphibians for the Comoros, and publish an Atlas. This collaborative work is expected to strengthen local capacities on reptiles and amphibian conservation, and initiate a network of experts covering the Comoros islands.
Strategic Direction:
3 Strengthen civil society capacity at local and regional levels through training, exchanges and regional cooperation.
