Develop an online, accessible database on plants for Seychelles Key Biodiversity Areas. Work on developing the database and interface, and strengthen a network of contributors and users. The database will fill a gap in terms of conservation planning for the Seychelles, while enhancing consistency and transparency of the Environmental Impact Assessments which are a key tool to prevent damages to biodiversity in the Seychelles, where urban development and infrastructures represent the main threat to terrestrial biodiversity.
Strategic Direction:
2 Enable civil society to mainstream biodiversity and conservation into political and economic decision-making.
