Mount an expedition to the northernmost mountains of the Njesi Plateau in Mozambique to perform standardized biodiversity surveys for selected taxa: birds; large mammals; small mammals; amphibians and reptiles; ground beetles and spiders; butterflies; Odonata and Hemiptera; selected beetles; and selected moths. Assess the biodiversity and habitat matrices present, describe new species encountered and also quantitatively document species assemblages through well-established, rapid assessment protocols. Formally assess, document and present the site's conservation value and its qualification as an Eastern Afromontane Key Biodiversity Area.
