Work with the Tanzanian Botanical Research and Conservation programme, Wildthings Ecology, the African Butterfly Research Institute, the Tanzania Forest Services and WCMC to research plants, primates, large and small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and butterflies, and see whether Nou Forest Reserve qualifies as a new Eastern Afromontane KBA. The team will look at trends (including forest cover), threats and current management effectiveness of the reserve.

Strategic Direction: 2 Improve the protection and management of the KBA network throughout the hotspot.
