Improve conservation of biodiversity at Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province, China, by providing training for representatives of local civil society organizations in scientific survey design, conducting field surveys, developing a plan for more effective engagement with local communities, and by creating formal partnerships between researchers at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden and local conservation practitioners.
