The project will enable the conduct of the regional consultative process to review and develop a new regional marine turtle action plan for the next five years (2013-2018). This presents the opportunity to share national turtle projects, programs and achievements; lessons learned; identify key areas (themes) for focus, including threats; identification and prioritizing of actions to address; and sharing on funding sources for national effort, contributing to the formulation of the new action plan. Capacity building on nesting monitoring methodologies will also form a component of the review.
