Promote public awareness and outreach on the negative impacts of the green iguana (Iguana iguana) in Fiji, and train island coordinators on site to understand the ecology and behavior of this invasive species. Develop methodology to pilot the removal of individual green iguanas from the two known sites, and to assess the abundance and extent of the spread of the species in other suspected nearby islands.

Strategic Direction: 1 Prevent, control, and eradicate invasive species in key biodiversity areas
