On the island of Pohnpei, support the removal of five invasive plant species from the Pohnpei Watershed Forest Reserve and improve the management of the Pohnpei Central Forest, a key biodiversity area that is home to nine globally threatened species. Promote awareness and education of these threats through community conservation officers to prevent the reintroduction of invasive species of plants and animals onto the island.

Strategic Direction: 1 Prevent, control, and eradicate invasive species in key biodiversity areas
