Update of the forest cover analysis for the Eastern Arc Mountains and Coastal Forests of Tanzania and Kenya, using 2010 satellite data and improved technology and analytical methods. These data will assist natural resource managers and decision makers and provide key information for emissions baselines for the voluntary carbon market and national REDD+ planning. This analysis will be undertaken in partnership with the Sokoine University of Agriculture and the forestry management authorities in Tanzania and Kenya.
