Conduct primary research in the associated wetland areas Neretva River, Trebižat, and Hutovo Blato. The eDNA method will kick-start a novel way of researching rich biodiversity areas, enabling larger scope of faunal research. A combination of traditional and novel methods of data gathering will set a necessary foundation for future protection and appropriate management of targeted areas.
