Strengthening Local Capacities for Conservation of the Ilinizas Ecological Reserve, Ecuador

Promote the implementation of positive actions with a high impact on biodiversity conservation. Work together with the population of the parish, local authorities and government agencies related to environmental management. Promote a strong information campaign on the benefits generated by the reserve, creating Environmental Management Plans linked to community water systems, and developing interinstitutional instruments and strategies to strengthen governance, policies and citizen actions aimed at conservation.
