Strengthen management, conservation and stakeholder engagement in Intag Toisán Municipal Conservation Area (ACUSMIT), northwestern Ecuador. Support updating of the ACUSMIT management plan, strengthen the capacity of community fire brigades, support habitat restoration for threatened species, expand agroforestry, strengthen local governance through a watershed management committee, strengthen local ordinances for nature conservation, and strengthen grantee capacity to integrate conservation into its operations.

Strategic Direction: 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
