Improve the status of Lagarosiphon steudneri, classified as threatened on the IUCN Red List and defined as a single-site endemic plant species in Wadela in the central highlands of Ethiopia. Through the development of a management plan and in close collaboration with the local community, reduce pressure on the site caused by expansion of agriculture, livestock overstocking and overharvesting of natural resources.

Strategic Direction: 2 Improve the protection and management of the KBA network throughout the hotspot.
