Restore the population of Elongated tortoise Indotestudo elongata>/em> in Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary through a soft release of 100 individuals selected from a captive breeding program at the Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity. Train six local "tortoise guardians" in post-release monitoring techniques and conduct regular monitoring for 18 months. Develop a guidance protocol for use by stakeholders involved in releases of similar tortoise species.
