Conduct a 3-year forest restoration program at Plaine Sophie in Mauritius in partnership with the Forestry Services, with the aim of planting 36,000 woody native seedlings and 36,000 ferns. Partner with a non-governmental organization dedicated to sensitization on Human Immunodeficiency Virus, who will provide manpower for weeding and planting under a pay-as-you-work program designed to support inmates’ reintegration into society.
