Develop a certification scheme to promote sustainable fishing practices in the Santa Luzia Marine Protected Area. Increase conservation capacity among civil society organizations nationwide. Implement bycatch mitigation measures with the creation of a local “guardians of the sea” network and advocate with government parties and local authorities.
