Assess and evaluate the ecosystem services in Nikšić to provide information for local land use policies and establishment of the protected area. Raise awareness of local communities on importance and benefits of nature’s conservation. Initiate the mainstreaming of ecosystem services and biodiversity conservation in the decision-making process to advance the process of establishing a new protected area in Nikšić municipality and provide input for its management planning.
